Bring: the campaign β creative concept, key message, audience, offer. Time: ~60 min. Cost: ~400β700 credits.
Brief the room (5 min)
New conversation. Attach the creative (screenshots via paperclip) and brief it like you'd brief a strategist:
Campaign pre-flight. Product: [product]. Audience: [audience]. The concept: [concept or attached file]. Offer: [offer]. Channel: [channel]. Budget matters, so I want problems found NOW, not after launch.
The comprehension gate (10 min)
First gate β comprehension: show the concept to a 50-person panel of the target audience for a "5-second read". What do they think we're offering? What percent got it right?
Below ~70% correct comprehension, stop. Nothing else matters until the message parses. Ask for the specific misreadings β they tell you exactly what to fix.
The focus group gauntlet (15 min)
Run a focus group: 6 personas, mixed dispositions (include skeptics). Topic: this campaign β first reactions, what feels off, what would make them act. I want the polarizing points especially.
Read the shifts section closely: what moved the skeptic is your strongest asset. What entrenched them is your risk.
The objection stress test (10 min)
Take the three biggest objections from the group. For each: how widespread is it (quick 50-person poll), and does our current creative answer it anywhere? Be blunt about where we're silent.
The competitive collision (10 min)
Our audience will see this next to [competitor]'s messaging. Run a head-to-head: our concept vs their current lead message. Where do we win, where do we lose, and what one change flips the biggest loss?
Go / no-go memo (5 min)
Write the pre-flight memo: comprehension score, group verdict, objection coverage, competitive read, and a clear GO / FIX-THEN-GO / NO-GO with the fix list ranked by impact.
